Amazon Cloud Drive

I've been using dropbox for over a year now and it is great. Looks like Amazon has gotten in on the game also with Amazon Cloud Drive. Storage starts out at 5 Gigs and looks like the next option up is 20 Gigs. And if you are already an Amazon.com customer (who isn't) you've already got your 5 free Gigs.

Alongside this Amazon has launched the Cloud Player for both Web and Android. Not as excited about this one but I'll check it out also. The thing that has me going is it looks like Amazon is throwing its weight behind the Android platform, with the launch of the Amazon Appstore for Android last week and the launch of the Cloud apps this week.

Looks like Amazon making a run at Apple and iTunes, and really if any company can its Amazon.
